Qoder

QoderWake

QoderWake is a beta product for building AI employees called Wakers that run on the user's own machine or cloud desktop. Each Waker has a name, role, persona, expertise, configurable tools, memory, resources and guardrails. Initial templates cover backend engineering, frontend engineering, testing, product management, data analysis and content operations, with custom roles and more than 100 advertised Job Skills. Wakers can handle conversations, run scheduled tasks, react to GitHub Issue, PR or comment events, and accept authenticated API triggers. Employee groups add a Leader Waker that decomposes goals, assigns member Wakers and consolidates results while users can intervene through group chat. The local Web Console manages Wakers, tasks and permissions; high-risk actions require approval, and task history, validation, failure recovery and cross-task state are part of the production-readiness positioning.

Editorial verdict

Best for

Individuals and teams testing persistent role-based AI workers for software delivery, product work, data analysis, content operations and event-driven automation.

Avoid if

Avoid production rollout before validating beta stability, pricing, model routing, repository permissions, PAT handling, memory retention and human approval gates.

Why it matters

QoderWake has its own installer, local console, role and memory model, automation API and multi-Waker groups, so it is a distinct agent runtime rather than another Qoder IDE feature.

Global user checklist

RegistrationConfirmedInstallation opens browser sign-in before starting the local service and Web Console.
English UIConfirmedThe product page and full QoderWake documentation are English-facing.
API and docsConfirmedDocs provide a PAT-authenticated endpoint for invoking configured automated tasks; this is a task trigger API, not a general model API.
International paymentUnknownQoder publishes general plan and credit pricing, but the checked QoderWake pages do not map beta usage to a specific plan or credit rate.
Commercial usePartialThe product targets production work, but beta terms, role-specific external writes and enterprise deployment controls require review.
Data and privacy termsReviewWakers can access local files, repositories, memories, MCP resources and automation credentials; scope each role and require approval for high-risk actions.

Checked on June 21, 2026. QoderWake is in beta; recheck Windows availability, installers, role templates, API behavior, pricing, credit use, supported models and enterprise controls before deployment.
